The major aim of navodaya is to encourage students in academic, social, emotional and personal development. To reach this aim, guidance counselling services help students get to know themselves better and find effective solutions to their daily problems. They also help students improve themselves in all areas and be full-functioning individuals. Counselors monitor students’ development and according to their needs they give students necessary support such as helping them to understand themselves and their needs, to solve their problems, to make realistic decisions, to improve their abilities and skills, and to adjust themselves and their environment in a healthy way.

Looking into the vast field of service the organization is engaged in; it always welcomes volunteers to join its initiatives. The activities are primarily focused currently in the Delhi / NCR region but can also be carried out in part of the country. Applications will be considered from all individuals who would wish to contribute to any objective of the organization as per its terms & conditions..

Internship Guidelines

• Only selected candidates shall be considered for the opportunity based on the availability of positions etc.
• Only candidates who will be able to achieve five goals out of the goals shall be awarded the successful internship certificate.
• The candidate may pursue the internship both on online / offline basis.
• No information / data shall be shared with any outside agency unless permission is specifically taken for the same.

• Communication and cooperation with parents and the others in relations (teachers, educators, psychologists, psychiatrists etc.)

• How to Cope with Peer Pressure
• How Can I Improve My Organizational Skills
• Strategies for Effective Learning
• Transition to Upper Grades / Divisions
• Career Guidance
• Social Skills Program
• Counselling program for children with special needs.

Submission of Internship report:

• The internship report has be prepared as per the guidelines above and only successful candidates shall be provided with Internship completion certificate.
